Overview

Denvan Consulting ("Denvan," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website at denvanconsulting.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information that you provide to us through the Site or in the course of an inquiry or engagement.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

This policy applies to information collected through the Site only. It does not govern information collected during formal client engagements, which are subject to separate contractual agreements including non-disclosure provisions.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the Site.

Information you provide directly includes:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and company name when you submit an inquiry through our contact form
  • The nature of your inquiry (e.g., cloud cost review, migration planning, general advisory)
  • Any additional information you include in the message field of the contact form
  • Information shared during an introductory call or email exchange

Information collected automatically may include:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL and exit pages
  • Pages viewed and time spent on each page
  • General geographic location (country or region level, derived from IP address)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

We do not collect precise location data. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial account details, health records, or government identification numbers through this Site.

Contact Forms

Our contact form is processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service. When you submit the form, your submission is transmitted to Web3Forms' servers and then forwarded to our email address. Web3Forms' privacy practices govern how they handle data in transit; their privacy policy is available on their website.

We retain the content of form submissions in our email inbox in order to respond to your inquiry. We do not use form submissions for any purpose other than responding to the inquiry and, if an engagement follows, to maintain records of the initial contact.

We will never use your contact form submission to add you to a marketing list or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Analytics

The Site may use web analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the Site, for example, which pages are visited most frequently and how long visitors spend on the Site. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the Site's content and user experience.

We do not use analytics data to build individual profiles, track you across other websites, or make decisions about you as an individual. If we use Google Analytics or a similar service, we configure it to anonymize IP addresses.

You may opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser plugin such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (note: not all analytics tools honor Do Not Track signals).

Cookies

The Site may use cookies (small text files stored on your device) for essential site functionality and analytics purposes. Cookies we may set include:

  • Session cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser, used to maintain your session as you navigate the Site.
  • Analytics cookies: Persistent cookies used by analytics tools to recognize returning visitors and track usage patterns in aggregate.

We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking purposes. You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. Refusing cookies may affect some aspects of Site functionality.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule introductory conversations
  • To evaluate whether Denvan's services are appropriate for your situation
  • To communicate with you throughout an engagement, if one proceeds
  • To improve the content, structure, and performance of the Site
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We may share information with third-party service providers (such as form processors or email services) that assist us in operating the Site and communicating with inquirers. These parties are required to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or a valid request from a government authority.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if such a transfer occurs.

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and related email correspondence for as long as is necessary to manage an active inquiry or client relationship, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up questions or disputes.

Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the applicable analytics service (typically 14 months for Google Analytics).

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will honor deletion requests unless retention is required by law or a legitimate business obligation.

Third-Party Services

The Site includes links to third-party websites including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and potentially others. Clicking on those links will take you to a third-party site governed by that party's own privacy policy. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the privacy practices of any third-party site.

Our Site also loads resources from third-party CDNs for fonts (Google Fonts), icons (Font Awesome), and similar purposes. These providers may collect basic usage data pursuant to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • The right to data portability (where applicable)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in the Contact section below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

We do not discriminate against individuals who exercise their privacy rights.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), limited access controls, and secure handling of form submission data.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and organizational decision-makers. It is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.
